ClearSight AI: Your Blueprint for Maximum Profitability

Program Overview

ClearSight AI - Your Blueprint for Maximum Profitability

Every company is different, and one size fits all approaches to AI deployment can be a disaster. When you have technologies as potentially transforming as AI/ML and Generative AI that can be applied everywhere, the big question CIOs are asking is “Where do we start?” And without the right blueprint – YOUR blueprint with your priorities – the chances of projects meeting their ROI objectives are slim. In fact, new research from Upwork reports that 75% of employees trying to deploy generative AI in their jobs have decreased their productivity, not increased.

This is where ClearSight AI from IHL comes in. With over 400 potential use cases, this program and platform helps you prioritize projects in your organization to not only see positive results but maximum profits.

More Detail about ClearSight AI

ClearSight AI is both a framework and a process to help you prioritize your potential use cases. It combines your prioritization of between 75 and 400 potential use cases with IHL’s proprietary AI Revolution Forecast and AI Readiness Index to show the maximum opportunity for the business impact of each use case over the next 5 years.

The process covers use cases in 10 different Line of Business Areas:

  • Business Intelligence
  • Commerce Solutions
  • Enterprise Accounting, Finance, and HR
  • Enterprise Application Development
  • Enterprise Collaboration
  • Infrastructure
  • Legal and Real Estate
  • Merchandise/Supply Chain Management
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Store Systems

Our focus is always on potential business value, however, the ratings created will cover aspects of Legal and Compliance issues, Data Readiness and System Readiness, Output/Action Readiness, Business Strategic Importance, and overall Business Value.

Through the process, IHL experts will interview key executive stakeholders in each area for their relative ratings in the areas of their expertise and identify gaps to success before you start the path of implementation.

You will end up with a prioritized list of projects, with the maximum level of business value as well as a prioritized list of gaps that will help you decide which projects to tackle first and which systems or processes might need to be updated. By having the potential business value as part of the process, you have a head start on the ROI analysis of each use case.

Finally, our goal is to provide a knowledge transfer. There is a clear jumping off part of the engagement, so you are not locked into a nebulous ongoing project with consultants with no end point.

FAQs

The initial stage is designed for retailers and restaurants, however, the model can be updated for anyone working in this or CPG industries. It is simply a readjustment of some of the use cases.

There is a clear end date. Our goal is a 10-12 day engagement where we take the model, customize it to your specific needs, then interview your key stakeholders and department owners with their inputs, then merge that information together to provide you a prioritized roadmap of projects that is uniquely yours. We wish to do a knowledge transfer of the system at that point. This is a clear end-point of the initial project. If there is a desire to go further once this is completed, we can discuss at your request.

We started with our original forecast by retailer type around the world of the potential for AI/ML, Generative AI, and AGI from now until the end of the decade. We then took that down to the individual retailer level and built it back up, looking at the specific systems. This resulted in an AI Readiness Score and ranking among public retailers that we were able to leverage across 116 different technologies that would drive benefits with our AI Readiness Profiles.

From here we began to compile the use cases. At the end of the day it is not the technology that drives the value, but the use cases that can be impacted by the technology. At the same time our research revealed were several failures and false starts out there due to issues with data, privacy or true business value.

So there are 3 types of algorithms involved in the model. The one built for the market overall, the average ratios by line of business sizes and impact, and then this new unique one for your business that factors in 7 variables unique to your operation. These are all included in the process to give you your blueprint.
